OUR STORY & PHILOSOPHY

Old&chiC exists to create a platform for senior citizens; to create and sell their handmade products. We are trying to make a difference by focusing 60-70% on producing organic and upcycled products, non plastic packaging, thus leading to conscious consumerism. We are also very particular of not being a commercial space. All our products unless mass made(like soaps), are unique and single pieces. This is to make sure that we don't burden our partners with targets and workload, especially since they are retired and would love to have free time to probably travel around the world, or who knows, maybe to just sit around!

Old&chiC is the brainchild of our founder Lakshmy Ramakrishnan. A professional movement artist, Lakshmy comes from a family of art lovers and enthusiasts. Growing up around people who are creative, especially her mother and grandmother, she wanted to do something to show the world their talent. With time, she met a lot of other people, who sew, croatia, upcycle, etc., and thus created this space for her to exhibit their craftwork.
